Pull Up the Tape: the site's data
Published by Raian Pollock, independently, with no party and no funding.

What is in this file
- csv/<topic>/<series>.csv: one table per series, as our program downloaded it from the official agency.
Columns: period, value, unit, series_id, source_url (the address it came from), fetched_at (when it was
downloaded), status (the state of each value) and note (the agency's own words where a value is missing,
marked preliminary, or was copied from a document).
- A period with no value was not measured by the agency, or did not pass our checks. We never fill it in.
- A month the agency still marks preliminary keeps its note (for example "footnote P: preliminary").
Releases an agency labels preliminary or early as a whole are left out; the method page names them.

Using the data
- The numbers belong to the agencies named in source_url. When you use a series, name its agency.
- Most series are works of the US government and in the public domain in the United States.
World Bank series are under the Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC BY): credit the World Bank.
CDC WONDER asks that no count of nine deaths or fewer, or a rate built on one, is published.
- The method page lists each source's terms of use and how to credit it: /how-we-count/
